Newspaper nails!

Suuuuper easy, paint your nails any color that would contrast well with black ink. When dry, put a top coat on and wait until very dry.

Once dry, grab rubbing alcohol and pour it in a shot glass or something like that. Have precut pieces of newspaper ready a little bigger than the size of your nails. The fresher the newspaper the better the transfer. Dip your finger in the rubbing alcohol for about 5 seconds doing only one at a time, then bring your finger out and place the newspaper piece on it and hold it gently but firmly on your nail, pressing the paper down everywhere on your nail. Then pull off, allow to dry for a few minutes then put a top coat on!

DIY Nail Polish Display!

Oh my gosh this is exactly what I needed! Online they are $250 ! Way too much! I found this awesome tutorial on how to make one with foam board, hot glue, a ruler, a pencil, and an exacto knife! Here's the link! Thanks so much to mschanelgurl !!!!

Another take on the fish tail braid!

I love the fishtail braid so I wanted to do something with it besides all my hair in a braid. So the half up fishtail braid with a twist! It's super easy:
Step one: take the hair you want up and have two sections and loosely twist each so you have the twist look.
Step two: Make sure it's centered (I like the messy look so I didn't want it centered, which is perfectly fine!)
Step three: fish tail braid the hair, (if you don't know how to fishtail braid I have a tutorial in another blog post)careful cause your arms will get tired!
Step four: pull the hair away from the center of the braid so it has a chunkier effect. Be careful not to pull the braid apart though!
Step five: put a clear elastic on the end and there ya go!

Just a few nails I tried, tried being the key word.

Remember that trying was emphasized. I was bored one day and didn't have enough time to actually get it done. More to come!

Fishtail Braid Your Own Hair!

This is a super simple way to have something besides the normal and everyday braid.

And..... Here's How:

Drastically Dark Purple

So I did this a few days ago but I have been wayyyyy busy so I am finally sitting down to post it.
I love drastic eye color and wish there was a way to pull it off for an everyday look. OH WAIT! There is, using dark purples (or any color you chose), you use a trifold color pattern and boom there it is.
Heres how to!

Perfect Eyebrows!

EYEBROWS! An easy way to keep up on the brows in between waxes! Let's get rid of
over plucking! Too much left is way better than too much gone!
You would need:
-Hair cutting shears (All I had at the moment was big scissors!
Which worked fine for what needed to happen)
-Slanted tweezers
-Pointed tweezers
-An old cleaned or disposable mascara wand
-A brush that you will use for measuring

Way to easy brush holder

Super Easy Makeup Brush Holder

All you need is:
-Jar
-Rice
-Brushes

I think the rest is self explanatory but I thought I would share because it is a super cheap way of storing your brushes while making sure that they stay nice!

State Map Display

So since I have lived in 4 different states yet I love them all.... I figured why not take a shot at one of the really awesome craft projects that I found on pintrest. HERE! But my own little spin since I didn't wanna go spend a bunch of money on the glass pane that is used here. All I did was get four small frames, that I already had luckily, and superglued the outer edges of the glass to the inner ledge of the glass and had my own makeshift window pane.

The First of the First

Evening!

Well this is the first post and I am super excited about it! I have been trying to figure out a way to keep all of my things stored and my thoughts totally all kept in one place! I really wanted to get a post up here after all of the "designing" that it takes to make this my style! I will be posting more tomorrow! I doubt anyone is reading this at the current moment hah! Maybe later on down the road you will be reading it from the archives and laughing... maybe that will just be me!

Night Folks!
